Today we announced the launch of a new version of Origin, designed to power real estate brokerage processes, end-to-end, from lead capture to closing dinner.
Five years after founding Altrio to tackle the biggest problems facing real estate capital markets professionals, we are excited to expand the use of Origin from investors and lenders to investment sales and mortgage brokers, key participants in the investment ecosystem.
From inception, we believed that pervasive problems, such as market fragmentation, poor data quality and high transaction costs, which undermine the efficiency of the real estate capital markets, could not be solved as long as real estate transactions continued to be executed via spreadsheets and email.
We have always believed that the future of real estate capital markets is online and that the true promise of technology in our space comes from the ability to execute deals online, rather than simply managing them: Deal execution platforms, not deal management platforms, are what the industry needs.

Document sharing, online messaging and shared tasks lists will enable deep collaboration between brokers and prospective buyers and lenders – and end the constant search through email inboxes for important documents and updates.
